Connect

  1. In Google Cloud, enable the Google Calendar API and create OAuth credentials for a Desktop app.
  2. Put the credentials at ~/.arden/gmail_credentials.json, or import them with the setup assistant in Settings → Integrations.
  3. Open the Google Calendar card and click Connect. Arden opens a local browser consent flow and stores an account-specific token under ~/.arden/.
Use Add account to connect another Google account.

Troubleshooting

  • API not enabled / 403 – enable the Google Calendar API in the OAuth project’s API library.
  • Missing scope – disconnect and reconnect Google Calendar.
  • Testing app access denied – add your Google account as an OAuth test user.
